Bede's Way jewellery is made locally in Sunderland by an artisan who hand collects seaglass, stone, lavender buds and rose petals from along Bede's Way Heritage Walk. This is then handcrafted into beautiful one of a kind pieces of jewellery. The colours of nature along Bede's Way walk inspire the artist and these are incorporated into her work. For example, the blue turquoise stone reminds her of the blue skies and seascapes. She also works with crystal glass, and hand sculptures pieces using gold filled, 925 sterling silver and fine silver. The rings she makes are Anglo-Saxon in design and a style very popular in Bede's day. Prices range from £5 - £25.
For unique pieces of jewellery for your family and friends be sure to pop in to Bede’s Bakehouse on your visit to St. Peter’s.
